About Jord

Jord is a plant-based meeting place in Malmö where sustainability, care, and community are at the center. We serve food that we love and are building a place where both guests and employees feel at home. We are now looking for a Shift Leader who wants to help lead the daily work together with the team – with security, joy, and good structure.

About the role

As a Shift Leader, you are a key person in the daily flow. You work operationally in the kitchen and service area, but you also keep an eye on the big picture: ensuring the team works well, guests are happy, and there is order in both pace and atmosphere. You lead with energy and are not afraid to take charge.

You will mainly:

• Lead the staff during your shift and distribute tasks.
• Ensure service, pace, and quality in the kitchen and service area.
• Monitor that routines are followed and help out where needed.
• Introduce new staff and support colleagues in their daily work.
• Support the site manager and participate in daily planning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from a café or restaurant, preferably in a leadership role.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in a team.
• Is responsible, clear, and enjoys creating a good atmosphere.
• Has service in their blood and an eye for detail.
• Is flexible with working hours and comfortable working weekends.
• Shares our values regarding sustainability and care.
