Shared Services is looking for new service-oriented employees! Are you our new colleague?

As an intermittent substitute, you will have an interesting, fun, and varied job and will be booked as a cook at several different workplaces within preschools, schools, and care homes within the municipality.

Your Role With Us

As a cook with us, you step in and provide staffing during temporary needs for our food service units, which places high demands on your ability to be open to new challenges every day.

You will work with:

• Preparing and serving meals
• Handling special diets
• Performing self-control checks according to current routines
• Ordering goods and receiving deliveries
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Packing and other common tasks in a kitchen
• Working in our diet program, Mashie

We use Time Care Pool as the booking system for your shifts. At our workplace, you work during daytime hours, and weekend work is part of our operations.

As an employee with us, you are an ambassador for the staffing unit Shared Services.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have passed the restaurant and food program with a focus on cooking or other equivalent education. You need to have knowledge and experience regarding special diets. Experience working in production kitchens and experience working in single-person kitchens are meritorious. We also want you to have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control, as well as experience with orders and invoice management.

Since ordering and communication are part of the work, we assume you have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge and experience with diet software programs are meritorious. You who apply to us must have a B-driver's license and access to a car.

Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for you who are flexible, responsive, and easy to collaborate with. You are solution-focused, positive, driven, and engaged. Being able to contribute that little extra both to colleagues and guests is important to you.

We are part of the Shared Services department, which is tasked with delivering cost-effective services of high quality to all administrations within Kristianstad Municipality.
