About the Role
Do you want to maintain and develop our nuclear power plants while contributing to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? Now you have the opportunity to do so with us at Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB.
We are currently looking for two Maintenance Technicians for the Instrument Maintenance group (NMK12).
The Instrument Maintenance unit is responsible for maintaining process systems where the equipment can be both analog and digital. The Instrument Maintenance group for Forsmark 1 and 2 consists of approximately 17 employees with varying backgrounds and educational levels, distributed among technicians, maintenance engineers, team leaders, and group managers. Within the unit, there are also positions such as system engineer and process engineer, which create good opportunities for competence development and advancement within the group and unit.
Your Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities will consist of preventive and corrective instrument maintenance on reactor and turbine systems, where analog technology is combined with digital. You will actively participate in operational work together with the rest of the group. You will participate in troubleshooting efforts and evaluate performed maintenance measures. The role also involves participating in renewal work where our responsibility is to contribute to projects, including performing testing after installation.
On-call duty is included in the position and becomes relevant when you feel confident and a certain level of experience has been reached. A B-driver's license is therefore a requirement.
Requirements
Who are you?
- At least a high school education in the technical field. Higher education or work experience from the process industry within instrument maintenance, electronics, or measurement and control technology is considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as the ability to read and understand technical English.
- Experience with ABB/Siemens automation systems is considered an advantage.
As a person, we are looking for someone who easily builds connections, values relationships, and enjoys working with others. You are driven by a genuine interest in technology and like learning new things. The role involves some administration, so you need to be accustomed to or interested in documenting your work well. Here you will have the opportunity for varied and enjoyable work where you work both independently and in a group.
Since we often work on operational equipment, this will give you a good understanding of the process, but it requires that you are focused and quality-conscious. We work closely together as a group, so it is important that you value good collaboration and contribute to a good group climate.
