Are you looking for a long-term part-time job starting in August or September?

Do you have another job or are you studying, and can you work 2–3 full weekdays per week during the terms, with the possibility of working more during Christmas, Easter, and summer?

The tasks as a forklift driver and warehouse associate at ICA's warehouse in Västerås will mainly involve forklift driving and picking goods by hand using a voice headset that instructs you on what to pick. The tasks are physically demanding, characterized by a high work pace and clear goals, and you will work in different temperature zones.

To be considered for the position, you must be very flexible with your availability and be able to work daytime hours at least 2 full weekdays per week. Weekend work is additional.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

ICA operates its warehouse 24/7, all days of the week. You who are applying should see this as a long-term part-time role and have a strong work ethic.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will be hired out to our client, ICA.

We are currently recruiting with a preliminary introduction start on Thursday week 35 and week 37. Please note that the introduction is scheduled for 11.5 working days and requires 100% attendance. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are available full-time during this period.

To be considered for the position, it is a REQUIREMENT that you have another job or studies of at least 50% and have at least one year left on your studies.

Phone interviews will take place continuously starting week 29.

Furthermore, you should have:

• Forklift license A1-4 (REQUIRED), driving experience is meritorious.
• Good physical condition.
• Clean criminal record (no convictions in the Swedish Criminal Records Register).
• Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• Meritorious with a B-driving license and access to your own car to get to work quickly.

In this role, you will work towards high-set goals and receive daily coaching for development. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy a high work pace and strive to achieve good results.

We will request extracts from the Criminal Records Register and conduct drug tests as part of the process. ICA aims to have smoke-free workplaces. The working environment at ICA's workplaces should be sober and free from drugs, so ICA conducts random alcohol and drug tests.
