About the Unit

Near Care Area North includes the hospital in Örnsköldsvik and six region-run health centers. The area also includes a private health center and a municipal operation. The Near Care Area has approximately 530 employees and two unit managers. The Hematology and Nephrology Department in Örnsköldsvik belongs to Near Care Area North. The department has specialist competence in hematology and nephrology. We are now expanding our operations and are looking for four nurses who want to develop care together with us. You will receive an individually adapted introduction from experienced nurses at the department. Together, we work to provide patients with safe care and good treatment.

The positions are permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work in a multiprofessional team together with doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, counselors, and dietitians. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts. You work two out of five weekends and have the possibility to work nights. In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients
• Handle and administer medication
• Carry out prescribed treatments
• Plan, follow up, and document care interventions
• Collaborate with patients, relatives, and other professional groups to create safe and secure care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have experience working as a nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have knowledge of nephrology and hematology
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
