About DFDS Logistics Contracts DFDS Logistics Contracts is a full-service terminal within contract logistics located in Arendal, near the Port of Gothenburg. The terminal's operations include cross-docking, as well as handling and storage of packaging.

About the role As a Pallet Repair Technician, you will work at the terminal's carpentry shop, repairing damage on used pallets and pallet collars. The work is carried out using various tools such as a nail gun, claw hammer, hammer, and handsaw. Some forklift driving is also involved.

Working hours: Evening shifts 14:50–23:35, Monday–Friday. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension.

About you You have previous experience in manual work, preferably in carpentry or repair. You like to know what is expected of you when you arrive at work and are driven by working at a fast pace. You are an active person who enjoys physically demanding tasks. It is important that you are prepared for changes in routines and that you handle these changes in the best possible way. We provide training during daytime hours for the first few weeks before you transition to evening shifts.

Requirements for the role

• Basic knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Forklift experience with counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience handling tools such as nail guns and claw hammers.
• Accustomed to physically demanding work.

Ambulatory Consultant: You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our customers' sites. Being an ambulatory consultant means you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the final application date.
