The Safety Call Center is a department that operates 24/7, 365 days a year, receiving safety alarms and calls from our alarm customers within Uppsala Municipality. All our new employees receive a thorough introduction to feel secure in their tasks alongside the team.
Your working hours as a technician will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
Description of duties
As a technician, you work both independently and in a team with varied tasks within electronics and technology, such as: installation and removal of safety alarms, cameras, and personal locks in users' homes. Your duties also include administration in our computer systems and handling personal data. You are part of a team with other technicians and alarm coordinators, working closely with the rest of the Safety Call Center staff.
Your duties include:
- installation and removal of personal locks, installation and removal of safety alarms and cameras
- administration (registration, data changes, and registry maintenance) in various computer systems
- planning and booking visits to home care users
- contact with home care staff
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education. To succeed in the role, you also need experience working with administration and telephony. We would appreciate it if you had education in technology, electronics, or data. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with technology and electronics. We would also appreciate experience from a healthcare profession.
The work requires that you have a B driver's license for manual transmission and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
As a person, you have well-founded and clear values and the ability to think theoretically about issues from an ethical perspective. Thus, you understand the implications of working in someone's home. Furthermore, you are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. You also have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Last but not least, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
