On July 1, 2026, Boreal takes over the contract for local traffic in Kiruna! This is something we are really looking forward to, as all lines will be electrified with new modern buses.

In preparation for autumn, we are looking for more dedicated bus drivers to join our team! Do you have a bus license but lack YKB (Swedish transport authority certificate)? For the right person, we offer all five parts of the YKB course.

Qualifications and Attributes

A D-class driver's license is required for the position. We can offer YKB for passenger transport for those who do not yet have it.

As a bus driver, it is important that you convey a positive feeling about taking the bus and that you take significant personal responsibility. You should transport our customers safely and pleasantly, and help with any questions or concerns they may have. You must have a positive attitude and be willing to treat every customer exactly as you would like to be treated.

You understand and express yourself fluently in Swedish.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of bus driver in Kiruna, you will drive local line traffic as well as train transfers. In addition to driving, the job includes fault and damage reporting. The work is social and suits you if you enjoy service and customer contact. There is also an opportunity to combine the bus driver role with work in the wash hall, where washing, cleaning, and simple repairs are included in the job.
