As a Forklift Operator at the warehouse for Smurfit Westrock Piteå, your main tasks will involve loading and unloading our paper products based on the current load planning. You will check and finalize load carriers and ensure the necessary load securing. We place great emphasis on delivery quality with the customer in focus. The duties also include providing load securing materials, checking packaging, and relabeling when necessary. The role may also involve assisting with minor maintenance tasks or performing them independently if needed.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a 3-year upper secondary education, preferably in Transport, Technology, or Natural Sciences. You should feel comfortable handling various technical aids, as the role involves working with different software, computers, and communication equipment. Since you collaborate with many colleagues, it is important that you maintain a high service level and appreciate the value of our differences, knowledge, and roles. You thrive in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently, taking great responsibility for your tasks and ensuring high quality. Working safely is a fundamental part of your professional practice. A B-class driver's license is required, and a forklift license for counterbalance trucks up to 10 tons is advantageous.

Working hours: Daytime, full-time.

This is a fixed-term position (maternity/leave cover) with a planned start date of September 2026 – April 2027.
