Vingåker Care and Elderly Care is organizationally placed under the Social Services Administration. Here, driven and engaged employees work to create a meaningful everyday life for our individuals.
The Disability Care Service consists of day activities, group homes, social psychiatry, personal assistance, and children's activities.
The Elderly Care Service consists of our 5 home care groups, special housing with somatic departments, dementia departments, short-term housing, and day activities.
We work closely together – with high competence, engagement, and a common goal: to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our care recipients.

Job Responsibilities

Regardless of which department you work in, you will work closely with people who need support and help in their daily lives in various ways. You need to be able to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

Disability Care Service (FHO)
As an employee in the Disability Care Service, you will work with varied tasks, often in everyday situations at the individuals' homes, in day activities, or in supported housing. You will provide support and services based on individual needs, which may include personal care, help during mealtimes, encouragement, and common household chores such as cleaning and laundry. Motivation and implementation of social and cultural activities around and together with the individual are also part of the role.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, on-call night, and weekends.
Elderly Care Service (ÄO)
Working in elderly care, whether in home care or in special housing, means working closely with people and helping them in their daily lives. You meet the individuals directly in their homes and need to show dignity and respect for being in their residence. We work based on individual needs and provide care, support, and services. Our mission is to provide good service by activating, supporting, creating social context, and providing good care.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends.
Qualifications
To work as an hourly substitute with us, you must be at least 18 years old. We are looking for you who are genuinely interested in working with people!
You need to be responsible, engaged, and respectful because the work involves qualified care that meets the individual's needs. We appreciate if you have education within care and elderly care or child and youth activities. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience working in Care and Elderly Care.
As a person, you are secure, reliable, have a good attitude towards others, and find it easy to collaborate with others. To find the right people, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability and value you who are self-initiating, helpful, and enjoy working with people.
A driver's license is meritorious and in some units a requirement.
