There are currently 23 employees at the Pharmaceutical Unit. Most of those working here are pharmacists, but we also have employees in other professional categories. Our mission is to promote safe, appropriate and cost-effective use and supply of medicines, as well as to provide operational and strategic support to healthcare activities. Our mandate covers the entire county, meaning we work from a county perspective and collaborate closely with the Pharmaceutical Committee. We have staff located in three towns in the county: Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. We also staff Sollefteå Hospital one day a week. The tasks for the Pharmaceutical Unit fall within three main processes: medicine supply, medicine use, and healthcare-related pharmaceutical support. Within these processes, we work with medicine supply, medication management, pharmaceutical issues, and pharmaceutical budgets. We are now looking for a Pharmacist (Receptarie) for the Pharmaceutical Unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. You will work at Sollefteå Hospital on average two days a month.

In your role as a Pharmacist, you will be part of the team working with operational and strategic pharmaceutical issues related to the region's medicine supply. The work involves close collaboration and continuous contact with healthcare staff.

• Quality review of the healthcare's medication management involves visits to various healthcare units, including health centers and public dental care within the county. This entails travel for work once or twice a week.
• You will work with ordering and unpacking of medicines at the hospital's healthcare units, which includes structured inventory and assortment work, as well as handling of leftovers and shortages of medicines.
• Promote good pharmaceutical economics.
• Work with infusion pump management.
• Quality and development work within medicine supply.

• Are a licensed Pharmacist (Receptarie).
• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in the field.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Hold a valid B-class driver's license.

• Have experience with medicine supply, medication management, and quality review of medication management within healthcare.
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
