About the job

You work with the processing and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. This means that you analyze and assess different types of documentation. In your daily work, you meet people with different backgrounds and request supplements via phone, mail, and digital mailboxes in your contact with private individuals and other authorities. With support from laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. Some cases are simple and quick, while others take more time.

The content of the work is determined by the needs of the operations. You plan your own workday and handle your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues, and you give and receive support from each other. You learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. If you are interested, you can also participate in various improvement and development assignments in parallel with your regular tasks. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to Population Registration Section 1 or 2 at Folk- and Property Unit 5 in the Folk- and Property Department. Your location is in Luleå.

You must also have:

• a university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in law or, for the position, another relevant higher education qualification, or alternatively several years of current and relevant work experience in case processing within public operations.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in case processing in the form of in-depth investigation/control from public operations.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-class tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
