Process Operator

Do you want an important role in an advanced and automated production process where your work makes a difference every day? Nordic Sugar is now looking for a Process Operator for our sugar solution and syrup department in Örtofta, where you, together with your team, are responsible for production, optimization, and quality assurance.

We are now looking for a Process Operator for our sugar solution/syrup department at Nordic Sugar. You will become part of a team that jointly is responsible for the production of sugar solution and syrup in several interconnected process steps. The work is largely carried out from a control center supported by control systems and analysis, where you together monitor, optimize, and ensure stable and safe production. We offer a structured introduction so that you get good conditions to get into the role and develop over time.

Regular working hours are intermittent 3-shift with Saturdays/Sundays/holidays off. Other working hours may occur for shorter periods during the year. The position is a permanent employment.

Main Responsibilities

• Work in a team consisting of operators, coordinators, and process engineers who together are responsible for planning, production, and follow-up within all process sections for syrup and sugar solution production
• Carry out operational optimizations in the production process using control systems and laboratory analyses, as well as performing necessary process corrections in consultation with other colleagues
• Troubleshoot, rectify, and report faults on production equipment within the area of responsibility
• Conduct process analyses and analyses on finished products for the customer

Your Background

• You have a suitable technical basic education from high school and preferably at a post-secondary level.
• We believe you have experience in similar process operator work
• Basic knowledge of the Office package
• You master Swedish & English in speech and writing.
