We are now looking for a construction worker for the service department at the Community Planning Administration in Tidaholm Municipality!

About the position

As a construction worker, you are responsible for the new construction and maintenance of the municipality's streets, pedestrian and cycle paths, as well as other land areas. The work includes practical field work such as paving, pipe laying, and stormwater management, as well as handling machinery and equipment. The role may also include responsibility for setting out according to traffic arrangement plans (TA plans).

The work is carried out both independently and in groups, where you will have contact with other operations and contractors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education in ground and construction work at the upper secondary level. You have a B driver's license and experience in construction work. We also see that you have the ability to read drawings.

Furthermore, you have good cooperation and initiative skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team. You have good physical fitness to be able to perform outdoor work under varying weather conditions. Furthermore, you are responsible, reliable, and flexible. It is also important that you are service-oriented and customer-focused. Having good communication skills is important in the collaboration with supervisors and colleagues.

We would like you to have an interest in development and improvement work. It is meritorious if you have machine experience and experience in pipe laying. Likewise, education in Work on the Road, preferably level 2.2 (marking responsible person), is meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
