We are now looking for a construction worker with coordination responsibilities for the service department at the Community Planning Administration in Tidaholm Municipality!

About the position

As a construction worker with coordination responsibilities, you are responsible for the new construction and maintenance of the municipality's streets, pedestrian and cycle paths, as well as other land areas. The work includes practical field work such as leveling, pipe laying, and stormwater management, as well as handling machinery and equipment. The role also includes responsibility for setting out according to traffic arrangement plans (TA plans).

As the coordinator for the street group, you are responsible for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating the daily work within the group. You act as a link between management and employees and contribute to ensuring efficient operations and good cooperation within the business. The role also involves contact with contractors, other operations, and external partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education in ground and construction work at the upper secondary level or equivalent experience. You have a B driver's license and experience in construction work. Furthermore, you have the ability to read drawings and have a good understanding of ground and construction work.

It is meritorious if you have machine experience, experience of pipe laying, and experience of driving wheel loaders or tractors. It is also meritorious with education in Work on the Road, preferably step 2.2 (marking coordinator). We would like you to have an interest in development and improvement work.

For the coordination responsibility, we would like you to have experience of planning, coordinating, or leading work groups in operations or construction activities. You have good communication skills and feel confident in creating structure, distributing tasks, and following up on the work. Since the work is carried out both independently and in a group, it requires good ability to handle both practical tasks and coordination issues. Furthermore, you are responsible and have good cooperation and initiative skills.

You need to have good physical fitness to be able to perform outdoor work under varying weather conditions.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
