The Role of Specialist Trainee Doctor

We are looking for a Specialist Trainee Doctor (ST-läkare) in General Medicine. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

For those who need to complete basic training (BT) at the beginning of their specialist training, a fixed-term contract may initially be offered with the goal of transitioning to a permanent position. If you have completed your internship (AT), we can offer you a permanent position as a Specialist Trainee Doctor.

Your Future Workplace

We are seeking a Specialist Trainee Doctor in General Medicine for Bra Liv Vetlanda Health Center. Here, 6 general medicine specialists, 1 geriatrician, 3 ST-doctors, 2 AT-doctors, and students work together.

We offer you a varied and stimulating job at the district doctor's clinic. As an ST-doctor, you will be employed permanently with a start date to be agreed upon. The working hours can be discussed according to your preferences.

• Hold a Swedish medical license and have good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level)
• Have a driver's license
• Can work independently but also collaborate with various professional groups
• Are engaged and responsible and understand the importance of good patient interaction
• Are flexible and wish to develop and improve operations together with us
• Embrace new knowledge and can serve as a knowledge resource for your colleagues
• Can adapt your work, interaction, and approach based on the patient and situation
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wish to contribute to creating involvement and a good work environment

As an ST-doctor, your ST planning is done in collaboration between you, supervisor, manager, and study director. At our center, you receive continuous supervision from experienced district doctors. The ST-doctors in the healthcare area meet regularly with the study director. We are very proud of our ST program.
