Have you graduated and want to kickstart your career as an embedded developer? Do you want to develop within embedded development and gain experience with exciting software and hardware platforms? We are now looking for a junior embedded developer for our client, where you will have the opportunity to develop and optimize software for advanced hardware platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to all parts of the development process, from processor configuration and optimization to testing and validation of entire platforms. You will work with various hardware components, such as network interfaces, storage devices, and memory modules, ensuring that everything functions as intended.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and maintenance of existing platforms and products
• Testing and validation of new hardware platforms
• Debugging and implementation of software-level solutions
• Collaboration with colleagues in the team and other departments

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Hold a Master of Science degree in fields such as technical physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a similar area
• Have knowledge of C and C++
• Have fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

This is not a requirement, but we consider it a merit if you have:

• Comfort working with the Linux Kernel

We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn more about embedded development. You thrive both working independently and collaboratively, and you enjoy solving technical problems. A meticulous approach and attention to detail are important, as is good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various people.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that initially, you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the Client and our side is that after x months, you will become a direct employee of the client.
