Senior Test Engineer – Verification & Validation (V&V)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in Verification & Validation (V&V) who wants to become a key part of a technical development team in Lund.

In this role, you will work as a technical expert in the verification and validation of advanced products and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that testing activities are carried out in a structured, efficient, and high-quality manner throughout the entire development process.

You will work closely with system engineers, development teams, project managers, and product organizations to ensure that the right quality is achieved at the right time.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer, you will among other things:

• Review technical requirements, risks, and verification strategies, and contribute recommendations regarding testing methods.
• Develop, review, and follow up on Verification & Validation plans.
• Create and further develop test specifications, test cases, and test processes.
• Conduct tests in technical test environments and ensure that results meet defined requirements.
• Analyze test data, identify deviations, and provide fact-based recommendations.
• Document results, create reports, and present technical decision-making materials.
• Be responsible for test equipment, test environments, and configurations.
• Ensure that test environments and machines are correctly configured, maintained, and ready for verification activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing methodology and development processes.
• Collaborate with various technical disciplines to ensure high product quality.

We are looking for someone who has

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Several years of experience in Verification & Validation, testing, or quality assurance within product development.
• Experience in developing and executing test cases as well as analyzing test results.
• Good understanding of requirements management, risk analysis, and testing methodology.
• Experience with automated test environments and technical verification activities.
• Experience working with advanced products, systems, or machines in test environments.
• Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate clear conclusions.
• A structured and quality-conscious work approach.
• Good collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Advantageous Experience

It is advantageous if you have experience with:

• Development of test processes.
• Automated test environments.
• Troubleshooting and problem reporting.
• System testing or integration testing.
• Work within industry, manufacturing, or advanced product development.

A mandatory drug test will be conducted prior to the start of the assignment.
