Job Description

The Home Care Service East is now looking for more dedicated substitutes who want to work when needed. We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to meet people in need of your support. Working in home care largely involves independent work, but it also requires good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other professionals. We have a wonderful community in the East area where we strengthen and motivate each other. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a valuable everyday life for our elderly.

The tasks in home care include providing interventions in the form of personal care and service. Personal care should meet physical, psychological, and social needs, as well as help with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal support. Service-oriented interventions include cleaning, laundry, and shopping. You will also perform delegated tasks related to HSL (Health and Social Care Act). We document in a journal system and use a planning tool for planning interventions.

The employment involves shifts during the day, evening, and weekends. The employment is flexible, and you make yourself available when you have the opportunity to work.

Qualifications

You do not need experience or education in care work to apply for jobs with us. However, we primarily seek you who are trained as assistant nurses or alternatively have ongoing education in the care program, nursing program, or other suitable care education. To work with us, you need to be solution-focused and able to work independently while being part of a team. You are responsible, reliable, and skilled at building good relationships while supporting people so they have a good everyday life.

Home Care East operates from premises in Virestad and Diö. As we use cars to travel between care recipients, you need to have a driver's license.
