Job Description

We are looking for several licensed nursing assistants who, with warmth and commitment, wish to work with children and young people with multiple disabilities under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). At our facility, you will provide care and support based on a secure, respectful, and individualized approach. The work is based on the individual's needs and prerequisites with the goal of creating participation, independence, and a meaningful daily life.

At Broströmsgården, you will find among other things a swimming pool, a sensory room, and a large inner courtyard in a calm environment near Delsjön. Communication is a central part of the work, and we use, among other things, clarifying pedagogy and picture support to create clarity, structure, and security in daily life.

By encouraging participation and self-determination, we create a meaningful daily life together with those who live with us. This is done through individually adapted goals and interventions documented in the implementation plan. An important part of your job is to be a contact person. In this role, you are responsible for being a close support, coordinating interventions, and together with the individual drawing up and following up on the implementation plan.

It is important that you feel confident in taking over several medical delegations from nurses. You will work a varied schedule with day shifts, evening shifts, and work every other weekend.

Tasks in the role include:

• Personal care and support in daily life.
• Participation in doctor's visits as needed.
• Support during mealtimes.
• Collaboration with relatives.
• Documentation of interventions and follow-up of care work.
• Execution of delegated health and medical care interventions on behalf of a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed education as a nursing assistant through the Care and Support Program or the Care and Support Program for Adults. In addition to education, we would like you to have:

• Experience working in care and support.
• An interest in receiving delegation for advanced medical aids.

In addition, we consider it meritorious if you have previously worked in a short-term unit, in inpatient care, or at a hospital.
