Operational Buyer for a leading energy company

Do you want to work in a business-close purchasing role where you can combine commercial awareness, supplier contacts, and operational responsibility?

We are now looking for an Operational Buyer for a long-term consulting assignment with one of Sweden's leading energy companies. You will become an important part of the purchasing organization and serve as the operational purchasing contact for the business units.

You will work closely with internal requesters, suppliers, and other purchasing functions to ensure efficient purchasing, high delivery quality, and compliance with the company's purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Act as the operational contact person for purchasing within the business unit.
• Provide daily support to internal requesters.
• Execute purchases up to 250,000 SEK per purchase instance.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Ensure that purchases are conducted according to current guidelines and policies.
• Follow up on order acknowledgments and deliveries.
• Handle complaints, warranty cases, and supplier disputes.
• Review supplier invoices against contracts and orders.
• Participate in supplier follow-ups.
• Contribute to the development of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Relieve project buyers by handling simpler project purchases.
• Assist in the implementation of new contracts.
• Participate in the development and testing of business systems.

We are looking for someone with

• Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operational purchasing.
• Experience with business and purchasing systems.
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes.
• Experience in supplier negotiations.
• Very good Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written.
