About the role At Synsam, the customer is always number one. As a Frontend Developer here, you play a key role in creating the best web experience! You will work on developing, improving, and maintaining our web applications.

Alone we are not strong – you will work in a forward-thinking and tightly knit cross-functional team consisting of full-stack, backend, frontend, and QA specialists. Your direct manager, Pasha Ayani, also works as Team Lead, and together you and the rest of the team work to optimize Synsam's web experience! This is a team that welcomes new ideas, dares to test alternative paths, and contributes together to an amazing web experience for Synsam's customers.

As a Frontend Developer at Synsam, you will have a central role in shaping frontend development. You are responsible for designing and implementing modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. In this role, you will take the lead on all frontend-related issues, both strategically and operationally. You set technical guidelines, ensure code quality, and have support from experienced full-stack developers in the team. Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop frontend work, both technically and strategically.

• Design and implement intuitive and appealing user interfaces.

• Develop and maintain web-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Work with responsive design to ensure optimal user experience across different devices and platforms.

• Collaborate with the team's other developers to ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend.

• Ability to write clean and maintainable code, drive technical improvements through best practices in frontend development.

Profile We are looking for you who want to help further develop our web applications in the spirit of Synsam. You thrive in a forward-thinking team where collaboration is highly valued. To succeed in this role, we believe you are a person with the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in frontend development.

• Strong competence in the frameworks Next.js and React.

• Very good knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, SASS/CSS, and Tailwind.

• Experience working with Azure DevOps and its related tools and processes.

• Understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and accessibility.

• Experience with agile working methods.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• An interest in sharing knowledge.

You are a self-motivated, structured, and communicative person with a strong interest in technology. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are driven by creating sustainable and user-friendly solutions.
