The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the first person with dedicated data responsibility in our international tribe, taking a key role in building the structures and ways of working that will form the foundation of Allica’s Swedish operations. You will own the data model for the Swedish business and be responsible for creating a robust data foundation for analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance. From pipeline design and data modeling in BigQuery to reporting frameworks for the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and the EU, you will build structures that enable data-driven decision-making from day one.

You will work closely with product owners, engineers, operations teams, compliance, and risk, translating business and regulatory requirements into clear data specifications. This is a greenfield role for those who thrive on building something new rather than maintaining existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and further develop the analytics and reporting platform for Allica’s Swedish operations

• Design and develop the central customer data model, including customer identity, product holdings, account status, and key customer events

• Own the data and reporting materials required by Finansinspektionen, EBA, and other relevant Swedish and European regulations

• Create dashboards and reporting solutions that provide product owners, operations, and management with clear and ongoing insight into business development

• Ensure that data is clearly defined, documented, and quality-assured through common standards and ways of working

You likely have...

...at least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst within financial services or another regulated industry

...strong SQL skills with experience building robust data models

...experience translating complex data into clear insights and decision-support materials for both technical and business stakeholders

...hands-on experience with GCP, specifically BigQuery

...experience building dashboards and reports in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.

Experience with regulatory reporting, preferably towards Finansinspektionen or EBA, is a big plus. Python skills are also desirable, or a strong desire to develop them. To succeed in this role, we believe you thrive in fast-paced environments and are equally comfortable working independently as well as in close collaboration with other teams. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English.
