About Us

Defence Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for logistics support to units, schools, and centers within the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) – both nationally and internationally. FMLOG houses the Armed Forces Transport Unit, which has functional leadership responsibility for transport services within the Armed Forces and the task of coordinating the execution of the Armed Forces' strategic and operational transport of personnel, equipment, and entire units. Transport is carried out, among other things, as air, sea, road, and rail transport, both within and outside the country.

The main task of the Travel Department is to book travel and issue travel documents for the Swedish Armed Forces.

Main Responsibilities

As a Travel Administrator, you plan and book travel services in accordance with agreements and regulations. You book hotels, conferences, flights, boat, and ground transport, and create the basis for invoicing travel services. The work is performed in various systems such as Amadeus, AGM, LinkOnline, and Outlook. You convey travel information to customers and offer a high level of service when assisting customers via telephone support – an important part of your role.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer.
• Current and relevant experience in service and administration, for example from travel agency operations, hotel and conference operations, or service and administration at a government agency.

• Previous experience working in the travel agency industry.
