Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant (undersköterska) with us, you will participate in the care of patients with urological conditions. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, preparation for surgery, postoperative care, handling of acutely ill patients, and end-of-life care. We have both emergency and planned operations, meaning you will encounter patients with diverse care needs and have the opportunity to develop broad competence within the specialty.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with a protected professional title and who have previous experience working as a nursing assistant. To ensure good and safe communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience and knowledge of catheter management and KAD insertion, as well as flushing of drains or catheters, for example, nephrostomies. Experience of emergency care and the medical record system Cosmic is also considered meritorious.

As a person, you are secure and stable even when the pace is high. You take responsibility for your tasks, can adapt to changed conditions, and have a professional and service-oriented attitude. You collaborate well with others, are sensitive to the needs of patients and colleagues, and contribute to a good work environment.

Terms of Employment

Temporary position for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Full-time or part-time.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekend. Rotation to night shifts may occur.

Start date by agreement.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
