About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced men's tailor for our atelier. You will work with sewing, alterations, and the production of classic men's garments with high demands for quality and craftsmanship.

The work involves both machine sewing and traditional hand sewing. Therefore, we are seeking a tailor with substantial professional experience who masters the craft of tailoring and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sewing and alterations of men's garments.
• Production and fitting of suits, tuxedos, dinner jackets, and other classic men's wear.
• Hand sewing according to traditional tailoring methods.
• Work with industrial sewing machines and other atelier equipment.
• Customer fittings, adjustments, and quality control.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of documented experience as a men's tailor.
• Excellent knowledge of classic men's tailoring.
• Experience with both industrial sewing machines and traditional hand sewing.
• Ability to independently perform complex alterations and new production.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman certificate or other relevant education in tailoring.
• Experience with made-to-measure or bespoke garments.
• Experience working with exclusive materials.

You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a genuine interest in classic tailoring craftsmanship. You work independently, take responsibility for your work, and maintain a professional demeanor with customers.

Important Information

This position is not intended as an internship or an introduction to the profession. We are looking for an experienced tailor who can work independently from the first day. A minimum of 10 years of experience in men's tailoring is therefore a mandatory requirement.
