Wrknest is currently looking for an Operational Buyer / Supply Chain Assistant for a consultancy assignment with a client south of Stockholm. This role is perfect for you who thrive in an operational and coordinating position where you work closely with suppliers, internal functions, and logistics to ensure efficient material flow.

As part of the supply chain team, you will have a varied daily routine where you are responsible for daily purchasing tasks and contribute to ensuring the business has the right materials in place at the right time. The assignment is initially for 3 to 6 months with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international environment.

In this role, you are responsible for operational purchasing and act as a key link between suppliers and the internal organization. You work proactively to ensure deliveries and contribute to a well-functioning supply flow.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

• Placing and following up on purchase orders
• Maintaining ongoing contact with suppliers regarding deliveries and order status
• Ensuring material availability and following up on discrepancies
• Collaborating with production, warehouse, and other internal functions
• Contributing to improvements in purchasing and supply chain processes
• Handling administration related to purchasing and business systems

Requirements

• Has experience in operational purchasing, order management, or supply chain
• Has strong administrative skills and is accustomed to working in business systems
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

Meritorious

• Experience from manufacturing industry
• Experience with ERP systems
