We are looking for an independent sub-consultant as a Senior Project Manager for a region in the Stockholm area, within a larger healthcare IT program. You will be responsible for planning, structuring, and establishing a support function for the program's users, suppliers, and stakeholders. The assignment covers both operational execution and strategic coordination between business operations, IT, and external suppliers. You will define the target vision and working methods for the support function, establish support processes including incident, case, and escalation management, develop SLAs and support documentation, and ensure the handover between project and operations. The assignment also includes creating an onboarding process with checklists, guides, and process descriptions, as well as coordinating input from business operations, IT, and other project streams.

Quick Facts about the Assignment
  • Period: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027 (with an option to extend by 6 months).
  • Scope: 100% (delivery and employment rate may be adjusted during the contract period based on business progress).
  • Location: Stockholm, hybrid based on agreement with the client.
  • Application deadline: July 17, 2026.
  • Language: CV and proposal in Swedish.
What You Will Do
  • Define the target vision and working methods for the support function and coordinate the launch and implementation of the support organization.
  • Establish support processes including incident, case, and escalation management.
  • Develop routines, SLAs, and support documentation.
  • Create the onboarding process and design checklists, guides, and process descriptions.
  • Ensure uniform documentation, working methods, and handover between project and operations.
  • Coordinate input from business operations, IT, and other project streams, and support the introduction and communication regarding the onboarding process.
Requirements (Must-Haves)

To be considered for the role, you must have competence level 5 and:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a project manager within IT and/or establishment of support functions, or alternatively as a manager of support operations where you have driven the establishment of support functions.
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic and operational work regarding ITSM processes.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management and/or managerial roles within support operations in companies or organizations with at least 500 employees.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management within the healthcare sector or other regulated activities.
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and business-oriented teams, a structured approach focusing on quality assurance and risk management, and strong ability to work independently.
  • Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects or tasks in parallel.
Desirable (Nice-to-Haves)

Value-added skills are weighted heavily in the evaluation, so documented experience here significantly strengthens the proposal. It is a plus if you have experience with:

  • Driving investigations or feasibility studies involving support operations.
  • Creating onboarding processes and checklists for support operations in larger organizations (at least 500 employees).
  • Procurement and implementation of system support related to support operations, e.g., case management and contact center systems.
  • Critical support operations with 24/7 availability.
About the Process

The assignment is appointed via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) with a strict proposal deadline on Monday, July 20, and award is preliminary as early as July 27 without a contract standstill. Selection therefore takes place on an ongoing basis.

For the proposal, we would like to be able to describe a reference assignment within a relevant area, such as the establishment of a support function or on-/offboarding. The assignment should have been for the public sector or actors working towards the public sector, be completed so that details can be confirmed, and have been performed in some part during the last 5 years. The reference must be contactable for verification and must not be dependent on the client.

The client operates activities covered by the Security Protection Act, so security checks and register controls may become relevant before access.

How to Apply

Submit your application as soon as possible via Teamtailor. In order for us to proceed with your profile to the client, we need:

  • An updated CV in Swedish (Word or PDF) that substantiates the competence requirements, with relevant and current information.
  • Information about a reference assignment and a reference person according to the requirements above, who can be contacted for verification.
  • Your hourly rate and availability from August 1.

Interviews and selection take place on an ongoing basis because the client has a strict deadline.

We look forward to receiving your application! Armin Tankovic, [email protected]
