About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Developer who wants to help build the future digital solutions within public transport. You will play a key role in an engaged development team responsible for Nobina's operational system family within public transport. The system handles everything from personnel planning to vehicle management, workshops, charging, and the execution of traffic. The system itself is divided into module groups responsible for their respective parts of the system.

We are currently looking for a Senior System Developer for the system parts that handle everything related to personnel. Here, we support our employees in their daily work, including personnel planning and optimization, HR support, support for drivers regarding schedules and leave, and other personnel management support.

You will drive development and maintenance forward, ensuring that the business always has the support needed for efficient operations. You will analyze requirements, develop solution proposals, and develop and test the solutions being built. Together with your team, the product owner, and with the support of colleagues, you will be responsible for maintenance, new development, and further development of the system.

We work on a Microsoft-based platform, both on-premises and in the cloud. Older parts are built in .NET Framework and SQL Server, while newer solutions are built in .NET Core and run in Azure. The frontend consists of a Windows application and Blazor. We work with CI/CD and automated, efficient processes to build, test, and deliver code. All teams work agilely in Azure DevOps together with the team's product owner.

This position is located at our headquarters in Solna, where we have access to facilities such as a gym, pool, and restaurant.

Your role

As a developer here, you are an important part of a cross-functional team responsible for the development, maintenance, and modernization of business-critical solutions. You combine a structured and solution-oriented approach with a desire to collaborate and develop together with others. You contribute technical knowledge and ensure that we continuously deliver high-quality solutions.

For example, you will:

• Develop and maintain business-critical systems in a .NET environment
• Participate in technical discussions regarding architecture and solutions
• Work with code reviews, testability, and code standards
• Contribute to the team's joint deliveries and the modernization of our technology platform
• Support and inspire more junior developers in their development

Who are you

You are a business-oriented, driven, and curious developer who likes to take responsibility. You are unpretentious, communicative, and solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team. You are quick to learn, analytical, and quality-conscious, and have a good understanding of the entire development process. You thrive with complex systems and in an environment where technology is used to create concrete value.

We would like you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience in system development in a Microsoft environment
• Experience working in agile teams
• Experience independently driving technical solutions from idea to delivery
• In-depth knowledge of C# / .NET, SQL Server or Azure SQL, API development, Git, CI/CD
• Experience with client (WPF or similar) or web interfaces
• Relevant education in IT or equivalent practical experience
• Fluency in Swedish and English
