Then you could be Fika & Wine’s new breakfast host.

Fika & Wine is a Swedish restaurant concept located at Österlånggatan 26 in the heart of Gamla Stan. In our historic 16th-century vaults, Swedish food traditions, fika (coffee break), and beverage culture meet in a warm and modern environment.

We serve a much-appreciated Swedish breakfast to both the general public and guests from several hotels in Gamla Stan. As part of our growing collaboration with local hotels, breakfast is a key part of the guest experience and often our guests' first encounter with Sweden.

We are now looking for you who want to give every guest a warm welcome and a really great start to the day.

About the Role

As a breakfast host, you are responsible, together with the team, for ensuring high-quality breakfast service and that guests receive personal and professional treatment.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and attend to hotel guests and other visitors
• Prepare and replenish the breakfast buffet
• Prepare simple breakfast dishes and coffee drinks
• Serve coffee, tea, and other beverages
• Handle cash register duties as needed
• Keep the buffet, dining area, and serving surfaces clean and well-stocked
• Collaborate with the kitchen and other service staff
• Ensure guests have a fantastic start to their day

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience from restaurants, cafés, hotels, or other service roles
• Good spoken Swedish and English
• Strong teamwork skills
• Responsible and positive attitude

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with hotel breakfasts
• Experience in cafés or restaurants
• Barista experience
• Experience with cash register systems
• Knowledge of Swedish food and fika culture
• Experience working with international guests
• Local knowledge of Stockholm and Gamla Stan

Employment Conditions

• Scope: 75%
• Working Hours: Primarily mornings and days according to schedule
• Start Date: Immediately
