Do you want to work in a socially important role within the defense sector where technology, project management, and structure meet? We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for a position in Stockholm, focusing on complex system environments and deliveries that support military operations. Here, you will work closely with operations and technology in a role with significant responsibility and clear impact.

Your role as a Technical Project Manager in defense-related activities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in projects involving command and control systems for land-based military operations. You will work with solutions that contribute to secure communication, efficient command, and reliable information sharing in environments where precision, robustness, and collaboration are crucial.

In this assignment, you will drive projects from planning to delivery, acting as the cohesive link between technology, operations, and suppliers. A key part of the role is translating needs into clear requirements, particularly regarding technical documentation, and ensuring that deliveries maintain the right quality throughout the process.

You will work in complex technical environments with many dependencies, clear processes, and high demands for structure. This role is suited for someone who thrives on creating momentum, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and keeping both details and the big picture together. Examples of tasks include leading technical projects, coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring schedules and risks, and ensuring that deliveries meet requirements, standards, and operational needs.

Who are you?

We believe you are a confident and structured project manager who thrives in technically complex environments where multiple stakeholders, requirements, and dependencies need to be coordinated. You have at least three years of experience in project management within a relevant technical domain, such as defense, telecommunications, software development, or other advanced system environments.

To succeed in this role, you have a good understanding of requirements management, system integration, and technical lifecycles. You are accustomed to creating clarity, driving work forward, and maintaining cohesion between planning, follow-up, and communication with various stakeholders.

Experience from the defense sector or other security-critical activities is advantageous. It is also a plus if you have worked with technical documentation or established documentation frameworks such as R-bok, I-bok, REPBok, or similar.

As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and solution-oriented. You have an aptitude for creating structure in complexity and are motivated by contributing to deliveries where quality, security, and longevity are important.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
