Are you driven by curiosity and do you have the drive to translate business and customer needs into clear requirements for the development of If's mission-critical systems and applications? We are now looking for a Senior Business Requirement Analyst who wants to be a central link between operations and IT. You have a technical education foundation and several years of experience in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing requirements for IT systems.

You work closely with product owners, domain experts, and development teams to create clarity, shared understanding, and requirements that meet both business needs and technical prerequisites.

About the role

You will work in a team focused on building new central solutions such as commission systems, pricing systems, vehicle registers, archive systems, and more. The team takes overall responsibility through the entire development cycle, from requirements, design, and implementation to maintenance. In short, you are part of many of If's highest priority initiatives right now, which means the role involves many contact surfaces.

You will have a key role where you have the opportunity to shape and influence working methods throughout the chain, from requirements to the developed product. Within a few months, you are expected to have established a strong collaboration with the business, work independently on developing value-creating functionality, and actively contribute requirements that meet technical solution proposals.

We offer

Just as we have high demands on you as an employee, we also expect you to have high demands on us as an employer.

Here are some of the benefits of working at If:

  • An inclusive work environment where everyone is welcome
  • Career and development opportunities within the largest insurance company in the Nordics
  • Social activities, combined with a high-quality professional environment
  • Opportunity for hybrid work
  • Healthy workplace with, for example, wellness allowance, gym, and various sports activities
  • Lunch allowance
  • Good insurance benefits

About the team

In the role, you will primarily work together with Centralized Business Capabilities, a team of approximately 15 employees who develop and maintain central solutions within If.

You belong organizationally to Requirements Engineering & Quality Assurance, where you become part of a competency area with colleagues within requirements gathering, UI/UX, and quality engineering.

Who are you?

You are self-motivated, structured, meticulous, and proactive, with an agile mindset. You are confident in collaborating with various stakeholders within both operations and IT and have an easy time creating structure in complex contexts.

You are also curious about how AI, automation, and new technical possibilities can change both solutions and working methods, and want to contribute to us working smarter, more data-driven, and more efficiently.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a technical IT education and several years of experience in requirements gathering and visualization of requirements for IT systems, for example through processes, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and mock-ups.
  • Has experience in creating and breaking down needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories.
  • Has good analytical skills and can handle complex data, technical structures, and integrations.
  • Can facilitate workshops and gather needs from both operations and IT.
  • Has a strong customer focus and sees the value of simplification, long-term maintenance, and sustainable solutions.
  • You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

  • Certification in requirements management, for example IREB, BABOK, or similar.
  • Experience with design sketches or prototypes in Figma or similar tools.
  • Experience from the finance or insurance industry.
  • Accustomed to working in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
