WORK TASKS

Do you want to contribute to higher quality and development within the disability support sector? Here, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's everyday lives.

We are investing in strengthening our pedagogical competence and further developing the quality of our work within the LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Therefore, we are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Support Pedagogue who wants to work to create the best conditions for our users.

As a Support Pedagogue in our daily operations, you will be part of a team together with three support assistants, where you will collectively contribute to a secure and meaningful everyday life. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

As a Support Pedagogue with us, you will have an important and central role where you both support and supervise your colleagues in pedagogical working methods and approaches. You will actively work on developing and implementing individually adapted solutions for each user, while simultaneously supporting them in living a meaningful and independent life. The role of Support Pedagogue is not just about administrative tasks; you will also be involved in user-facing work.

The work includes, among other things:

• acting as a pedagogical role model and driving development and quality work within the operations.
• supervising and supporting staff in social documentation and implementation plans.
• developing and implementing clarifying pedagogy as well as digital solutions.
• collaborating with colleagues, unit managers, and other relevant actors.
• participating in daily care work, including nursing interventions and delegated health care tasks.

Work may occasionally take place outside the workplace where you are stationed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• education as a Support Pedagogue (200 YH credits).
• experience working within LSS operations.
• good computer skills and familiarity with social documentation.
• good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Class B driver's license.

In the role of Support Pedagogue, you need to have good self-awareness and be confident in yourself. You are sensitive, responsible, and find it easy to collaborate with everyone you meet. You also have the ability to inspire and bring people along in a group. With a flexible and open attitude, you see opportunities rather than obstacles. You are driven by development and quality, and your goal is to promote good living conditions for users by strengthening their participation and independence.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your commitment to working with the target group. Experience in supervising individuals or groups is also considered an advantage.
