About the role
As a Machine Operator at Husqvarna AB, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the operation of production machinery. Tasks vary depending on the specific process and department you belong to. However, common responsibilities include machine monitoring, conducting thorough quality checks, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs. The role also involves replenishing materials and ensuring stable and efficient production.
Work is primarily conducted on a 4-shift rotation, involving day, evening, and night shifts, with one weekend off per month. A 2-shift system may also apply depending on the department, so flexibility and openness to both systems are required. This is a full-time consultant position based in Huskvarna. The assignment begins with a six-month probation period, after which it converts to a permanent position for the right candidate.
About you
You have a strong technical interest and enjoy practical work. As a colleague, you are helpful, cooperative, and actively contribute to a positive work environment. Since instructions are provided digitally in Swedish, it is important that you have a good command of the language in both speech and writing.
We appreciate that you are responsible and proactive, with an ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and processes. You work meticulously with a clear focus on quality, are communicative and curious, and have a desire for continuous development.
Key requirements for the role:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or similar.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Forklift license is desirable.
- Background in technology, electrical engineering, or the metal industry is an advantage.
