Your Next Challenge

SCA Skog's Production function is responsible for forestry harvesting, both private forest and our own forest. The function has approximately 160 employees and covers all production from Norrbotten in the north to Hälsingland in the south.

As Group Manager Operations, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting your group, which consists of eight production managers, who in turn are responsible for several harvesting teams. The daily work is a combination of both administrative work at the office and presence out in the field. The administrative tasks include, for example, payroll management, invoicing, and result reporting. In addition, you act as a supportive resource for your employees in practical matters and other work-related needs.

Your responsibilities include areas such as health and safety, optimizing productivity, ensuring delivery precision, and maintaining quality goals and budget requirements. You will be part of the cross-functional group manager team for the flow areas of Östersund/Ånge, where you collaborate to ensure the delivery of the flow area.

• You have an academic education in forestry or have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• You have a Category B driver's license as travel occurs in the position.
• You master Swedish as the language is used in daily work.
• You have a broad interest in forestry issues, especially forestry production.

Previous experience in a leadership position is meritorious.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date as agreed. The location is Östersund or another location within the business area. Travel occurs in the position.
