The Service Department is now looking for an engaged and meticulous cleaner for a permanent position. Here, you will have an important role where your work is truly noticed and appreciated.

You contribute to clean, safe, and welcoming environments for both our employees and students. You will become part of a professional and helpful team where collaboration, respect, and job satisfaction are at the center.

The Service Department is responsible for facility cleaning, internal services in the municipal building, coordination of cleaning services, centralized vehicle management, and the development of the municipality's meal operations.

The Service Department belongs to the Technical Administration, which consists of nearly 200 employees across four departments: public environment, water and waste, services, and a staff unit. We work to ensure that the municipality's traffic environment is safe and accessible, and that children, young people, and the elderly receive nutritious and good food in our school operations and special housing. We are responsible for residents' access to clean and fresh tap water. We handle the collection of household waste and waste facilities, cleaning for our administrative premises, contract and rent management, as well as services. Our responsibilities also include leisure facilities, parks, and playgrounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for all daily cleaning in the municipality's premises. The work also includes larger periodic maintenance, including floor care and window cleaning. The job requires a professional attitude and a high level of service, and you will work both independently and in a team.

You will primarily be stationed at Södermalmsskolan, but you must also be prepared to step in at other schools in the municipality as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have documented work experience in cleaning and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as to understand instructions in Swedish. The job requires basic IT knowledge and good physical fitness as it is physically demanding.

We consider it an advantage if you have a professional vocational certificate as a cleaner or in services through PRYL, SRY, or similar.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are confident in working independently and take personal responsibility for your tasks, while also having good collaboration skills and contributing positively to the team. You are flexible and can adapt to changed conditions, and have a natural focus on service and meeting needs in a professional manner. Furthermore, you are structured in your approach to work, working meticulously with a strong focus on quality. You also have a good understanding of the importance of following guidelines and regulations in your work.
