Are you our next property caretaker?

As a property caretaker at Riksbyggen in the Mälardalen Market Area in Västerås, you will be one of those working closest to the customer. You have a combined role that includes property maintenance for outdoor environments and gardens, indoor property maintenance, and corrective measures. This means, among other things, that you are responsible for following management agreements as well as receiving and quickly handling any requests, orders, and fault reports from customers. The work is varied and social.

What will you do?

We are looking for a versatile property caretaker. Tasks within outdoor environments and gardens include, for example, maintenance and supervision of properties such as mowing grass, flower bed maintenance, pruning work, cleaning, etc. It also includes indoor maintenance and supervision with property rounds. The role also involves handling routine maintenance after fault reports and rounds, having daily customer contacts, and purchasing consumables. Occasional indoor cleaning may also occur. The role of property caretaker is a very varied and free work under your own responsibility. The work requires an independent person who can take initiative and must also be able to collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is curious, unpretentious, and helpful. We want you to have the ability to see and meet our customers' needs. We want you to be a team player who stands up for your colleagues. You should have a positive attitude towards your work, our customers, and your coworkers. It is also important that you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and have the ability to organize your work in an efficient manner. You thrive in and are accustomed to working at a high pace, have the ability to prioritize your working time, solve tasks independently, and "look up" to work proactively.

We are looking for you with at least two years of experience in gardening, outdoor work, and property maintenance. You need to have an interest in learning new digital systems and be positive about development, as well as have strong service and team spirit. We place great emphasis on personality and independence. A merit is if you have a property caretaker education or a gardener education.

You must be able to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Good computer skills are a necessity as, for example, all handling of work orders is digitized and largely managed through mobile phone apps.

A Class B driver's license is required.

The position is a permanent full-time employment.
