As early as the mid-1800s, machine felts were manufactured in Halmstad. Since then, years have passed, companies have disappeared, others have spun off and changed names. Today, Nordifa is the only Nordic manufacturer of technical textiles that has a complete production chain from fiber to a finished product within its walls. Our customers are found in a range of different areas – process industries worldwide, manufacturing industries that assemble Nordifa components in their products, and world-renowned furniture designers.

About the job

You will switch between different tasks as a machine operator in our manufacturing department.

Previous experience from manufacturing operations is a plus.

You must be interested in technology, curious, and willing to put in the effort when needed.

During the first period, you will work together with one of our experienced employees to learn the different processes.

The working hours are scheduled on a 2-shift system or during daytime.

About you

You are accustomed to working with reporting and control systems, understand the importance of safety, quality, and finding smart improvements. Additionally, we want you to:

• Have good familiarity and experience as a machine operator.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written) to understand instructions, etc.
• Enjoy varied work that involves many different tasks.
• Have a positive and helpful attitude, appreciate working independently as well as in a team, and are eager to develop in your role.
• Understand and accept that precision and quality are very important to the company.
