Job Responsibilities

Do you want to lead an engaged team and contribute to creating a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees? Then the role of Daily Cleaning Manager might be for you!

About the Role

As the Daily Cleaning Manager, you are part of the team responsible for the daily management of the cleaning department. Together, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the cleaning of Kläppen's facilities and checkout cleans on turnover days. The role is both operational and administrative, where you work closely with employees, supervisors, and other departments to ensure high quality and good service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the cleaning of Kläppen's facilities.
  • Be responsible for daily staffing and task distribution.
  • Distribute tasks to supervisors and support them on turnover days.
  • Manage digital checklists and quality assurance via Selfchecks.
  • Plan and follow up on checkout cleans.
  • Ensure that the right materials, keys, and work instructions are available.
  • Receive and introduce temporary staff during arrival and departure days.
  • Handle guest inquiries in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

Personnel Responsibility and Planning

Together with the management team, you are responsible for:

  • Recruiting, introducing, and leading seasonal and temporary staff.
  • Creating cost-effective staffing with a focus on the right quality at the right time.
  • Contributing to a positive work environment and high satisfaction within the department.
  • Ensuring that employees follow Kläppen's routines, policies, and agreements.

Training and Development

You are involved in:

  • Planning and conducting training for seasonal and temporary staff.
  • Working with internal training and the department's goals.
  • Developing working methods, routines, and quality within the operation.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience from cleaning, service, hotels, or other personnel leadership roles (meritorious).
  • Is a natural leader and enjoys coaching and motivating others.
  • Has good planning and organizational skills.
  • Is structured and solution-oriented.
  • Enjoys working both operationally and administratively.
  • Has good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Has good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Has a valid B-category driver's license (required).

Employment Type

The position is a fixed-term seasonal employment from September to April, with the possibility of recurring seasonal employment for the right person.
