Your responsibilities

As a cleaner with us, you not only keep the municipality's various premises clean - you perform your work efficiently and based on set goals.

You, who work as a cleaner in the pool, are employed full-time and work Monday-Friday during the day. Your work involves being a support to your colleagues by being where needed. You cover all types of absence and also help with floor care, deep cleaning, etc. Your schedule is created by the supervisors and given to you continuously in good time. The work is performed both independently and in groups, using environmentally friendly and modern cleaning methods.

We who work within the Local Cleaning Unit are 55 employees, including one in the pool, three supervisors, and two Unit Managers. As an employee, you have close contact with the supervisors both on-site at the object you work at, as well as via phone. You are assigned a supervisor as your closest contact, and you receive a rewarding introduction that is both theoretical and practical. As a pool employee, you and the supervisors meet once a quarter to follow up on the work and ensure that you have a good and pleasant working environment. In the spring, you will be scheduled for employee interviews together with your supervisor. Since our objects are geographically spread out, our workplace meetings provide pleasant opportunities to meet everyone. We work Monday – Friday during the day with flexibility options, offer work clothes and shoes, as well as a wellness allowance.

Your profile

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience acquired in other ways.
• If you also have formal cleaning education, it is an advantage, as is practical experience in local cleaning and knowledge of cleaning products and tools.
• You are flexible and have the ability to prioritize.
• A B-driver's license and your own car for work are required as we are geographically spread out in Leksand Municipality.

We are looking for you who can start immediately. The employment is a probationary full-time position for six months.

To handle the workload, you need to have good physical fitness, as effective local cleaning involves moving around a lot and working with your body. You also need to have basic IT and data skills to handle certain tasks, and you must master and understand Swedish in speech and writing to read and understand instructions and safety data sheets within the work area.

When you work in the pool, you meet many colleagues, both within and outside your operation, so as a person, you are service-oriented, helpful, and have a good attitude. You are thorough and keen to meet set goals and quality standards.

The Sector for Business Support and Service has approximately 140 employees and consists of the departments; Administrative Service, Economy and Payroll, HR, IT, Communication, Catering & Local Cleaning, and Customer Service.
