We are currently looking for a handy and solution-oriented mechanic for a long-term assignment with our client in Ystad. The company is a leading player in the manufacturing, repair, and modernization of customized tank and bulk vehicles. Here, you will step into a large and modern workshop environment of approximately 7,000 square meters, where everything from new production to after-sales service takes place under one roof. You will become part of a tightly knit team where service, safety, and quality are always in focus. Your Responsibilities

In the role of mechanic, you have a broad and varied area of responsibility. You work with both planned projects and urgent service tasks to minimize downtime for heavy vehicles.

Examples of tasks include:

• Mechanical work and repairs on heavy vehicles, piping systems, pumps, and chassis.
• Assembly and disassembly during transfers, conversions, and modernizations of tank units.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of components, valves, and associated equipment.
• General workshop duties – you support where needed, handle spare parts, prepare materials, and ensure optimal workflow in the workshop.

Is a practical person who loves to tinker, fix, and solve problems. You thrive when working with your hands and are not afraid to get your hands dirty. As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, and have good teamwork skills, but you also have no problem driving your own tasks forward independently. You have logical thinking and a good touch with tools and machinery.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical work, vehicle service, machine maintenance, or similar.
• Good understanding of mechanics and experience using hand tools and machinery.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
