We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Björkö, in the northern archipelago.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children who have Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF).

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorders. The most common conditions include ADHD, Autism, ADD, Asperger’s Syndrome (AST), Tourette’s syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to support as many people with special needs as possible. Therefore, you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. Working with NPF Barnvakten offers a rewarding, joyful, and incredibly fulfilling part-time job.

The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 7 years old
• Days and times: approx. 25 hours/week, during weeks 28–31
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Björkö, northern archipelago.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disability, or similar).
• Is familiar with low-affective interaction and clear/structured pedagogy.
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children.
• Seeks a developing and rewarding side job.
• Is pedagogical, calm, and secure.

Merits: Driver’s license and experience with visual aids/TAKK.

Tasks:

Tasks vary depending on the family's needs. Typical tasks may include:

• Picking up from preschool/school
• Planning and conducting activities at home and outdoors
• Providing support during excursions
• Preparing simple meals
• Bedtime routines
• Activation, socialization, and respite care
