We are looking for a reliable and responsible forklift operator for a day shift position with our client in Tyresö. This role is ideal for someone with good forklift experience who thrives in an environment where precision and safety are prioritized, and who wants to contribute to an efficient workflow in a warehouse and production setting.

This position is a consultancy assignment via Lernia. The role is full-time with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods using various types of forklifts, including picking and restocking in the warehouse, as well as loading and unloading as needed. You will become an integral part of the team, collaborating closely with other warehouse and production colleagues to ensure accurate deliveries and a smooth material flow.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operating and handling forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, electric forklift, depending on needs)
• Picking and packing orders according to instructions and picking systems
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Checking quantity and quality of goods upon receipt and dispatch
• Restocking inventory and placing items in the correct storage areas
• Collaborating with warehouse and production staff to optimize workflows
• Following safety procedures and contributing to a tidy work environment

About You

Formal Qualifications

• Valid forklift license for current forklift types A+B
• Experience with forklift operation and warehouse work, preferably several years of experience
• Good physical condition and accustomed to standing and lifting in normal amounts
• Category B driver's license
• Basic knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written) and good English skills

Advantageous Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Working in picking systems or having good computer skills
• Experience from logistics or production environments with high volumes
