AQ M-Tech continues to grow and is now expanding its orbital welding department! Do you want to work with advanced welding technology where precision, quality, and technical expertise are at the center? We are now looking for an Orbital Welder/Pipe Welder who wants to become part of an engaged team and work with modern welding equipment in a high-tech production environment.

About the role

As an Orbital Welder, you are responsible for performing and monitoring welding processes with high demands on quality and precision. You work with programming, setting up, and optimizing orbital welding equipment, ensuring that production meets current quality requirements and specifications.

The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure efficient processes and the highest possible delivery precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform orbital welding according to drawings and specifications
• Rig and prepare pipes, materials, and equipment prior to production
• Program, set up, and monitor orbital welding equipment
• Ensure that welds meet established quality requirements
• Perform inspections and documentation according to established procedures
• Troubleshoot and adjust welding parameters as needed
• Participate in improvement work to optimize production and quality
• Work according to current safety and quality standards

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience with orbital welding, pipe welding, or other qualified welding
• Has good technical understanding and interest in advanced production technology
• Can read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Is meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious
• Thrives working both independently and as part of a team
• Has good knowledge of Swedish or English

Experience from the process industry or welding certifications are considered meritorious.
