Adecco is now recruiting an Industrial Mechanic for Part Construction in Kalix.

About the Role

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will become a key part of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production. You will work with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment in a modern industrial environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus.

You will initially work day shifts alongside an experienced maintenance team. As the business expands, a transition to two shifts is planned, and with further production increases, three shifts may become relevant. The work is carried out in close collaboration with operators and other colleagues within maintenance to ensure high availability and operational reliability in production.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Participate in improvement and development work
• Document performed work in the maintenance system
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to ensure a reliable operation

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who thrives with varied tasks in a modern industrial environment.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

• Have education in industry, mechanics, or equivalent experience
• Have experience in mechanical maintenance within the industry
• Have good skills in reading technical drawings
• Have experience in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
• Have welding skills
• Are responsible, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
• Can communicate in Swedish or English

Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics is meritorious. Forklift and crane training, as well as Hot Work certification, are also meritorious but not required.
