Job Description

Are you passionate about working with maintenance in a GMP environment and ensuring that all maintenance is performed with the highest quality to guarantee site operations? Are you driven by troubleshooting technical issues in close collaboration across departmental boundaries? Then we have the perfect assignment for you! On behalf of our client, a leading and successful company in southern Stockholm, we are now looking for an engaged and proactive Maintenance Engineer. Here you will become part of a competent team with extensive experience in facility management, GMP, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement. As a Maintenance Engineer, you are expected to independently plan, structure, and drive maintenance and improvement work at the facility. You will have a broad network and collaborate closely with both internal departments and external contractors and authorities to optimize processes and ensure stable production.

Responsibilities

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance: Plan and carry out maintenance of equipment, building, and media systems.
  • Validation and calibration: Calibrate, validate, and re-validate equipment according to established maintenance plans and instructions.
  • Project management: Lead and participate in maintenance and investment projects of various sizes.
  • Documentation: Meticulously document planned and executed work in the company's maintenance and work order systems.
  • Quality work: Work with deviation and change management in the company's quality system, as well as create new instructions and routines.
  • External contacts: Participate in inspections from customers and authorities.
  • Purchasing and budget: Responsible for purchasing spare parts and ordering external service for equipment within the budget, as well as assessing and making decisions on actions based on current authorities.
  • Improvement work: Identify, execute, and document improvement work according to LEAN principles.
  • Support and working environment: Support all departments and tenants with technical support and actively participate in the company's systematic Safety, Health, and Environment work.

Qualifications

  • Education: Academic technical or scientific education, or equivalent experience within process industry operations, preferably from medical technology or pharmaceutical production.
  • Maintenance experience: Experience with systematic maintenance work involving preventive and corrective maintenance in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Project experience: Experience in independently leading smaller and medium-sized maintenance and investment projects.
  • Meritorious: Previous experience in purchasing construction, repair, and maintenance services.
  • Personal qualities: Strategic ability with a proactive approach to achieve set goals. You have a genuine and burning interest in technology, a systematic working method, and a very good ability to establish contacts and collaborate flexibly based on different customers' needs.
  • System knowledge: Ease in working with computerized systems and very good competence in the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
