We are currently looking for an assembly worker for our client Nilssons Special Vehicles in Laholm. The company is a leading manufacturer of special vehicles and develops and builds ambulances and hearses with high demands on quality, function, and finish.

This is a long-term consulting assignment starting in week 33 or 34. Working hours are during the day.

About the role

You will become part of the assembly department where you, together with your colleagues, work with the assembly and detailed assembly of the company's special vehicles. The production team consists of approximately 20 employees, about half of whom work in assembly. The work takes place on a production line where every step is an important part of the final result.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Assembly and detailed assembly of components for special vehicles.
• Interior assembly.
• Assembly and gluing of windows.
• Assembly of guide rails, rollers, arms, and wiring.
• Adaptation and assembly of wiring.
• Drilling, sanding, and simpler welding tasks.
• Assembly, adjustment, and fine-tuning of doors.
• Ensuring correct fit, even gaps, correct cable tension, and that both function and appearance meet the highest quality standards.
• Work based on drawings, instructions, and checklists.
• Document and report in the company's digital systems.

Quality permeates the entire operation. You will receive a thorough introduction together with an experienced mentor during your first few weeks. The goal is for you to learn the company's working methods and processes from the ground up to deliver products with the highest precision and finish. You will also support other departments as needed. Here, everyone helps each other and collaborates to achieve common goals.

Qualifications

• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience reporting in digital systems.
• Interest in practical assembly work and technical products.

• Experience in assembly or industrial work.
• Knowledge of reading electrical diagrams.
• Experience with CAD.
• Experience working with 3D printers.
• Forklift license.
• Experience with simpler welding work.

Important information

The work takes place in a production environment where isocyanates and fiberglass are present. Therefore, the position is not suitable for individuals with asthma or sensitivity to fiberglass.
