About the role

Radonova was founded in 1986 in connection with the Chernobyl disaster and initially consisted of a research group of four people. Today, they have grown into global leaders in radon measurement with customers in over 80 countries and offices in large parts of the world. They have a broad business in the field, including production, analysis, support, and research, and offer radon measurement for both residential homes, workplaces, authorities, larger facilities, and land.

In the role of Web Designer, you will become part of Radonova's modern headquarters in Uppsala and an engaged development team consisting of four developers. Here, you will be the one setting the visual direction and creating user experiences that make a difference, from the company's external websites to internal systems used daily by both colleagues and customers worldwide. You will work closely with developers throughout the entire development process and be responsible for creating designs, user flows, and components that are then turned into finished solutions. You will work with the entire design process, from idea and sketch to final design, using the tools that best suit the task, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools. The goal is always to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually consistent solutions.

The role is broad and varied. In addition to developing and improving Radonova's WordPress websites, you will also work with multilingual digital solutions and contribute to the design of reports, instructions, and communication flows in the company's document management system. There is plenty of room to come up with your own ideas, drive improvements, and influence how the company's digital products develop. Responsibilities

• Design user-friendly interfaces and components for internal systems and digital services
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and designs in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate closely with developers and ensure that the design is implemented in the best possible way
• Further develop and improve the company's WordPress websites based on design and user experience
• Work with HTML, CSS, and simpler JavaScript for adaptations of websites and digital solutions
• Design reports, instructions, and communication flows in the company's document management system
• Contribute ideas and improvement proposals that strengthen the user experience

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in UX design, web design, digital design, or another relevant field
• Have experience in web design or UX design through work or alternatively through internship or LIA
• Are accustomed to working in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Have good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Have experience with WordPress or another CMS
• Are very comfortable with Swedish and English in both speech and writing as it is required to perform the work
• Live in Uppsala or the surrounding area as this is important for Radonova

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have

• Experience working closely with developers, design systems, multilingual websites, or similar digital solutions
