About the assignment
This is a consultancy assignment via Bemannia where you will work on behalf of our client in Linköping.
The Department Manager for Information Management has overall responsibility for the functional areas of document management, data protection, archives, and registry within the group. You will be responsible for providing good service to the operations and the public, as well as ensuring that the group's employees know how to handle the information they work with correctly.
We are looking for you who are a secure and clear leader with strong strategic skills. You are communicative, collaborative, and have an easy time coordinating work towards common goals. As a person, you are results-oriented, make well-founded decisions, and are driven to develop operations through a change-oriented and solution-focused approach. You actively contribute to a work environment characterized by well-being, participation, and engagement.
The position holder has ongoing contact with both internal and external parties. Internally, collaboration occurs with individual employees within the department, steering and project groups, as well as representatives for business areas and support functions. The role also involves close cooperation with Project Management, IT, the Purchasing Department, the Project Department, and the Security Department.
Externally, contacts include representatives from other companies in the industry, suppliers, external networks, and other stakeholders. The contacts aim to ensure effective collaboration, information exchange, and good business relationships.
Your responsibilities
The responsibilities include having direct personnel responsibility for staff in the department, as well as leading and steering the department towards all the goals set by the support functions.
The responsibilities also include:
- Leading and developing the functional area within the group.
- Representing Information Management within the group.
- Coordinating and developing daily work within the function.
- Ensuring routines for quality assurance in working methods to ensure good retrievability of information.
- Long-term resource planning and personnel matters.
- Economic follow-up, invoicing, and budget work.
Your qualifications
- University degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on archive and information management or economics.
- Managerial/leadership experience.
- Experience in strategic work.
- Experience in public administration.
- Experience in developing working methods and routines.
- Experience working in a management group.
- Knowledge of archive and public access legislation.
