We are looking for a PE teacher for Brevik School.

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and in collaboration with other educators at the school, in accordance with the school's guiding documents and with our vision in mind. You will primarily lead your own teaching but will also collaborate closely with other educators in the operation. As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. You are responsible for building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You serve as an adult role model for all students at the school. Currently, this position does not include mentorship duties.

The school dedicates significant time to creating a positive recess activity program for our students.

We are looking for you who have teacher education and a teaching license in Physical Education for grades F-6. We would prefer that you have another subject you can teach and that you have previous work experience as a teacher.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in others' perspectives. You need to be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is important in this role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You should have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and different prerequisites for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operation.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate from the police's criminal record register before employment begins.
